Training Courses

Technical insight into PowerMill robot

Duration – 1 day

Powermill testing, an overview of toolpath creation, simulation, testing, posting and running within the robot environment

Advanced PowerMill – general MTD exploration, post processor overview

Introduction to basic robotic CNC milling

Duration – 1 day

General robot operation course covering powering up, shutting down, jogging, I/O control, operator user groups and robot safety.

Standard program control, selecting, running and restarting online programmed routines.

Online programming, program creation and use of PTP, LIN and Circ command.

Robotic CNC calibration

Duration – 1 day

Calibration of 4 point TCP, external kinematic calibration and 3 point base.

PowerMill spindle calibration, rotary table calibration, part positioning and general PowerMill robot use.

Advanced CNC robotic milling

Duration – 3 days

General robot control, robot jogging and program creation, TCP, external equipment calibration, software training.
